Sun you say? Well if you live in Windsor you know that if you don’t like the weather stick around and it will change, and changes were on the horizon. When I discovered the weather was turning for the worse, I went out in search of a sunset. It was an extremely dull day, but I managed to catch this shot at around 6PM on Tuesday.
Forecast grey days ahead.

I am so excited, it like having found a long lost friend. I can imagine myself almost 35 years ago, sitting that that very bench sitting in that park looking across the Detroit river, and seeing chunks of snow.ice floating down the river. I was crazy to do it because I grew up in Tropical Borneo and and I wanted to see my imaginary icebergs.
I’m so glad I brought back fond memories Ann. There was only one lonely ice chunk that floated by me that day. I should have taken a close up of it. Next year I will try to get to the river before the ice leaves and get some photos for you.
wow that’s a stunning photograph
your composition is great
Beautiful shot Elizabeth.
You know you have all week to gather shots for Sunday Stills. Sometimes I start taking my shots the day Ed issues the challenge, and take them all week. :)
Beautiful photo Gaye. Are you planning on painting that one as well? The colors are Great! Love it. Patty ;-)
awesome photo…makes me feel like i am there :)
Very nice shot!
It’s a beautiful photo! Do most places have that saying? Just wait the weather will change? LOL or is it just select places like where you live and Texas? I’m sure there are places where the weather doesn’t change much. :)
Not so sure about other places, but as far back as I can remember they’ve said that about Windsor.
Amazing shot, especially the weather being so dull. Thank you for your comment on my blog… it’s a human actually but almost got me wondering if you know the game yourself?
*wink* Yes, and no it was in a past life.
What a lovely view over the river. I like how there is just a hint of brown in the sky to balance the brown earth and benches.
This has to be one of the best shots I have seen in a long time!! I love the colors and the angle :) Beautiful !!!
That is one of those shots I feel I get just get lost in. Beautiful and interesting.
Great shot, my dad’s from Hamilton originally..:-)
