Artist Participant in Paint DEXTER Plein Air Festival
August 17-22 – Artists converge on picturesque Dexter Michigan to paint ‘en plein air.’
For the 3rd year in a row, under the curious and watchful eye of the public, local and visiting artists will paint for four days in and around Dexter.
The festival culminates with a two-day exhibit and silent auction of all competition artwork in the Tent Gallery in Monument Park. See the full timeline of events for details and times.
Activities include a friendly competition for professional and emerging artists, a quick-draw painting competition, a silent auction and artwork sale, workshops for children and adults, Chalk Painting in Monument Park, the History of Plein Air Painting presentation, and more.

I participated at this great event to benefit The Kidney Foundation of Canada. Two of my pieces found new homes at the event. While it was difficult to see them go, it was good to know they will be loved at their new home.
